GLIM C-6 is a control preamplifier
including a phono stage with passive RIAA correction and accompanied
with external Phono MC-1 step-up transformer. It incorporates premium
selected tubes, signal capacitors and silvered, teflon insulated signal
cables. The GLIM C-6 amplifier passes signal details all the way from
pickup
through the amplifier output.
The power supply is
separate unit with all regulated voltages for the tube anodes and
filaments. Each stage has additionally got its own power supply
filtration and smoothing capacitor for each tube. Symmetrical and
double mono configuration is resulting a short signal path and single
ground point for complete preamplifier keeps the hum and noise levels
inaudible.
